Doing my part to liven the place up!

On Sunday, I saw Celtic Woman in concert. No photos are allowed at the show, but I did take plenty of myself all dressed up. And I did something I've wanted to do for a while: I dressed my Poupée up like the real me!

Forgot to include my purse in the picture, but this is it:

And here's a closer look at my parasol (too bad my Poupée doesn't have the lavender one):

Although my Poupée did not, I had a jacket and outer coat with me that day, as well.

And, of course, my super sweet girlfriend, Amy!

If you're not familiar with Celtic Woman, get with it! :D

Actually, they are Irish. The violinist/fiddler & all of the soloists are from Ireland, born & raised there to Irish parents (not Irish-American).

The only person who isn't is Hayley Westenra (in the gold dress in the video you linked to; not in either of the videos in my post). She is from New Zealand (of Irish heritage), but she was only with them for a short time & was more of a guest star on tour.

Glad you like them! :)

I assumed they weren't because only one actually sounded Irish when singing. But perhaps not all Irish people sound like the Irish in movies, like I thought they did XD

They all have Irish accents when they speak (some thicker than others), but most everyone loses their accent when they sing, since we all pronounce vowels about the same when singing. (Country music is an exception, since singers tend to intentionally sing with a twang in that genre.)

If you listen to them talk, you'll hear the accents, although they're not as thick as they were before they started spending more time in America than back home in Ireland:
